Hood Dental Lab has survived the onslaught of competition over the past 28 years working with local Portland-area dentists and even expanded into various other states, the important thing to know is we're still here and there's a lot of good reasons why.  We are really good at making the best quality restorations, using the best quality products and employing the most updated techniques.  Our work is great because we're good to our employees and they stay, ensuring consistant quality for you and your patients.  This means money to you...crowns that fit on the models mean crowns that fit in the mouth, affording your patient less time in the chair and you more time in Hawaii.   

Mt. Hood Dental Lab is a family-owned business, owned by Tim and Dot Defler.  Tim is a graduate of the Dental Technology Program at Portland Community College and has over 18 years experience working in all aspects of the dental laboratory industry, his outstanding porcelain and gold work can be seen in many smiles around town and in parts north and east of Oregon.   Dot is a graduate of the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and has virtually no experience in the actual making of the crowns....lucky for you, but can work a computer and therefore, bill you.  She keeps the creditors at bay and is behind the marketing materials you may have used to line your garbage can (but hopefully you kept so that you can call us today).
